Valencia Basket U14 women's team is proclaimed regional champion

Valencia Basket's U14 female team is proclaimed regional champion in the Final Phase played in Aldaia. The title gives the taronja team access to the Spanish Club Championship 2025 to be played between the 1st and 7th of June in Huelva. The Infantil A boys' team was on the verge of winning the title, finishing in a meritorious second position in the Final Phase and gaining access to the Spanish Club Championship. The female U14 B, for its part, also obtained its ticket after finishing the final phase in 3rd position. Valencia Basket, therefore, will have three representatives in the national championship.

 

The U14 A men’s team won their games against TLSI Godella (69-62) and Moyex EB Vila Real (42-83), but a defeat against CBI Elche (74-68) deprived Vicent Revert's boys of being regional champions. Despite this last defeat, the players showed a great level of play, very hard worked throughout the season.

 

For its part, the women's U14 A team did not know defeat. Taronja players came out of the Final Phase undefeated, winning the title after beating Valencia Basket U16 B (38-76), NBF Castelló (45-66) and Miarco Godella (52-11). Marcel Villalba's girls put the finishing touch to a great regional season that will allow them to fight for the title of champions of Spain.

 

In the case of U14 B girls squad, two defeats against Valencia Basket U14 A (38-76) and against NBF Castelló (68-78) left the team without options to fight for the championship, but a victory against Miarco Godella (52-11), will allow the players to travel to Huelva for the dispute of the championship of Spain.
