Valencia Basket would like to thank La Cordà de Paterna NB for their willingness to collaborate over the past few years to build the affiliated team. This partnership has been in place for six years, filled with memorable moments and a strong commitment to women's basketball. The Club has been proud to provide Paterna with a high-level, competitive project. Now that this collaboration has ended, Valencia Basket will take over the management of the team in the Liga Femenina Challenge, a new project that will be integrated with the other Valencia Basket youth teams.

The second women's team will therefore revert to its original name, Valencia Basket, maintaining its place in the second tier of Spanish women's basketball. This will provide a perfect opportunity to develop the talent coming from the L’Alqueria del Basket youth system, offering a demanding competition that serves as the best possible test before reaching the highest level.

The team will play all its home games at the home of European youth basketball, and the Valencia Basket sports department, headed by Manolo Real, will be responsible for assembling the roster and all the arrangements related to its participation in the Liga Femenina Challenge.

The main objective, which has driven the growth of the Club's youth academy in recent years, is to provide the Valencia Basket junior players with a perfect stepping stone between the youth categories and the demands of the Liga Femenina Endesa. This will complete their development and offer them a competitive leap in quality where they can test their skills and continue to evolve.

The new project will begin next season, 2026-27, and will be integrated into the Valencia Basket structure from the outset. The club will provide updates on the team's composition and progress toward its objectives in the coming months.
