  • 08 / 10 / 2026

Valencia Basket is launching the third edition of its ‘Somnis Cup’, which will take place on January 2, 3 and 4, 2027 at L’Alqueria del Basket. The tournament carries the Valencia Basket seal of quality and will bring together some of the best U12 and U14 teams from Spain and abroad. It is a great opportunity to foster friendship and togetherness among players from different places, promote the values of effort, respect and teamwork, as well as boost sports tourism in Valencia.

Registration is now open through this link.

Competition

The tournament is designed to ensure that all teams make the most of the sporting experience. Every team will play a minimum of three games, all officiated by referees and table officials from the Valencia Basket Senior League. Through the Swish App, players and families will be able to follow the tournament schedules and fixtures in real time. The app will not display player statistics.

Facilities

All games will be played at L’Alqueria del Basket, a complex featuring nine indoor courts and four outdoor courts, all within the same venue. This infrastructure guarantees that, regardless of the weather, the tournament will take place in perfect conditions and with the highest organisational standards.

In addition to the courts, L’Alqueria has modern changing rooms, a cafeteria, rest areas and spaces for families and accompanying guests, making it the ideal venue for an event of this scale. There will also be a Fan Zone, providing players with a space to enjoy themselves away from the court.

Roig Arena Experience

One of the tournament’s most special moments will be its connection with the surroundings and identity of Valencia Basket. Participants will have the opportunity to get closer to the club’s day-to-day life and experience first-hand the setting where top-level basketball takes place, discovering the history, values and passion behind the Valencia Basket project.

Depending on the sporting schedule and facility availability, the tournament may also include additional experiences linked to Valencia Basket and its surroundings, further enhancing the unique nature of the event.

Fan Zone

The tournament is about much more than basketball, which is why players and teams will also be able to enjoy a complete experience away from the court. The Fan Zone will be a central meeting and entertainment area, designed to encourage interaction between teams, shared enjoyment and leisure moments throughout the tournament. It will be a place to relax, take part in recreational activities, spend time with teammates and opponents, and continue creating unforgettable memories around basketball. A space where fun, togetherness and the spirit of the tournament become part of the competition.
