The 2020-21 season shown the consolidation of the presence of L'Alqueria del Basket in the calls of the Spanish national team, although the health situation has continued to be very present. In a year in which international competitions were postponed, thus reducing the activity of the national teams, Valencia Basket had a total of 22 players and 5 coaches in the calls of the FEB. Specifically, 10 girls, 12 boys, 2 coaches, 2 s&c coaches and a doctor were part of the Spanish national team in youth categories last season.

 

During the summer, L'Alqueria del Basket was the headquarters of the work concentrations in the absence of competitions thanks to the security that the facility has proven to offer during the pandemic. Guillem Ferrando, Millán Jiménez, Alonso Faure and s&c coach Julio Galcerán were with the U18 national team. Later, Lucas Marí, José Luis Roberto and Pablo Navarro did so with the U15 team, along with s&c coach Borja Ricart. Marina Hernández was called up with the U16, and Awa Fam and Inés Monteagudo with the U15, in which Roberto Hernández was also the coach. Claudia Contell, Frida Cecchi and Elba Garfella were with the U17 team, where Roberto Hernández repeated in the coaching staff. Diego Rivas was also called up in the men's team. Regarding the U14, Fam repeated call-up, this time along with Julia Sarrió and Alba Caballero. Vicente Sebastiá was the doctor. The national teams did not meet again until the Easter vacations, already looking ahead to the summer of 2021, when international competitions would return. Julia Sarrió and Alba Caballero were called up again, this time with the U15 and Lucía Rivas made her debut in the list. Roberto Hernández took Inés Monteagudo and Awa Fam in the U16, with the novelty of Lucía Navarro. Both calls were in L'Alqueria del Basket. In the men's section. Alan Escobar and Jorge Carot went from the U14 to the U15 together with Salvador Gallego, who made his debut. Borja Ricart was again called up as s&c coach. Lucas Marí and Pablo Navarro also went up a step by being called up with the U16 and on this occasion David Barberá joined them. Claudia Contell, Frida Cecchi and Elba Garfella closed the call-ups with the Spanish national team for the 20-21 season with the U18.
