The third training day for coaches of this season of the Basketball Chair L'Alqueria del Basket with the Universitat de València and the support of Caixabank is coming. On this occasion, Borja Comenge will be the main protagonist on 23 December. All the coaches in the conference will have the chance to see the ACB game in Fonteta at 20:30 against Obradoiro.

 

This year, as one of the main novelties, all those registered for either of the two options will receive digital material related to the topics covered in the clinic. And as usual, the hours will continue to be valid for the FEB and FBCV coaching courses, with 4 hours per day for those who opt for the Coach Experience. A new leap in level to offer the most complete training.

 

Borja Comenge, will share his knowledge on "Development of individual fundamentals in the attack against the defensive switch". A talk that will take place in the main court of L'Alqueria at 18:30h.

 

About Borja Comenge

The coach has experience in both youth and professional teams. He started his career in Lleida in ACB as assistant, scout and s&c coach. In the 2005/2006 season he was assistant coach of the Catalan team in LEB, with Andreu Casadevall, coordinator of the Taronja men's youth teams, as head coach. He then went on to play for Girona, with which he competed in ACB, LEB Bronze and LEB Gold. He then moved to Barça, where he coached the youth team in LEB Gold and the preferential junior team and returned in the 2013/14 season to coach in the top flight with Manresa. He then landed at Baskonia, where he was sports coordinator for two seasons. After that, he coached Lleida for two years in LEB Gold and arrived in 2018 at Valencia Basket as assistant coach, with which he won a Eurocup and where he remained until last season. He currently coaches Lleida's Cadete Preferente Masculino.

 

Strength and Conditioning Coach Experience

In addition to the usual option of attending the clinics on the centre court of the facility, or watching them online at a price of 12 euros with the best possible speakers, there is also the possibility of further improving the training received. Those who wish may opt for the Coach Experience, having access to a complete training session at the Club before the clinic, with a discussion at the end with the coach who directs it, thus having the option to ask him about the work developed. An activity coordinated by David Calero, coordinator of the Basketball Chair. Those who wish to live this experience will be able to do so for only 6 euros more, that is, 18 euros for the whole day.

 

Those registered who choose this option will live the Coach Experience with Nacho Palmero, Valencia Basket's s&c coach. The Coach Experience will start at 17:30h in the main court.
