The best Women's Technification Camp is back in its 6th edition

Valencia Basket opens the deadline to sign up for the VI Women's Technification Camp, which will be held in July in two shifts. The activity, which will be held at the Sports Complex of Cheste and L'Alqueria del Basket, will work specifically on individual technique by fundamentals in small groups of 6-8 players and individual tactics by stations in groups of 10-12 players.

 

A camp that has become an absolute reference, through which players from national teams of Spain, Latvia, France, Norway, Italy, etc. have passed. Many players currently playing in LF Endesa, LF Challenge or LF2 have participated in previous editions.

 

The camp is aimed at female players born between 2009 and 2011 in the first shift and between 2005 and 2008 in the second shift. It will include individualized physical preparation work, including improvement and strengthening of joints, running technique and psychomotor skills. In addition to a 45-minute daily work session on individual technique in which you can choose between shooting mechanics, ball control, passing adapted to the game or movements in the low post. There will also be training talks on nutrition and stress management in competition.

 

The price for full board will start at 495€ (before May 15) and 550€ from May 16 onwards, until all available places are filled. All participants will be provided with two reversible T-shirts and two playing shorts.

 

The Camp will start at 10:00 am on the first day of the shift in L'Alqueria del Basket (Calle del Bomber Ramón Duart s/n, 46013, València). The end will be at the same place at 14:00h on the last day of the shift.

 

Coaching staff

Manolo Real, women's youth coach in Valencia Basket -being champion of Spain U16 in 2021 and 2022-, as well as League, Cup and Supercup champion and Euroleague runner-up with Ciudad Ros Casares Valencia, will be the technical manager of the Camp. As specific work coordinator will be Gloria Estopà, currently coach of Valencia Basket linked to the NB Paterna of LF Challenge, with experience in Liga Femenina and FEB. Also Rubén Burgos, coach of Valencia Basket in Liga Femenina Endesa and EuroLeague Women, will conduct specific sessions.

 

Facilities

The venue will be the Cheste Sports Complex, a fully equipped facility with a covered pavilion with 4 basketball courts, an outdoor multi-sports court, a swimming pool, a women's residence and a 24-hour physiotherapy service. The training sessions will take place both in the sports complex pavilion and in L'Alqueria del Basket.
