Valencia Basket U18 teams kick off the Spanish Championship in Huelva

The U18 A male and female teams of Valencia Basket, both regional champions of the Valencian Community, are heading to Huelva to play the Spanish Club Championship. An annual event that will take place at the same venue from April 30 to May 6. All matches can be watched live on canalfeb.tv.  .

 

Last weekend the women's A team led by Héctor Rosa won the Final Phase held in Agost, giving them direct access to the Spanish Championship, beating CB Terralfàs, NB Paterna and the U18 B Academy taronja. The men's team A under Guillem Gonzalez did the same in their Final Phase in Calpe, beating Seguros Meridiano FLBA, TAU Castelló and Don Bosco in the three matches.  .

 

Now in the Spanish Championship, the women's U18 team has been placed in group B with Bàsquet Girona (1st Catalonia), Movistar Estudiantes (1st Madrid) and Adareva Tenerife (2nd Canary Islands). For its part, the male U18 team shares group D with Real Betis Baloncesto (1st Andalucía), Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (3rd Madrid) and Gran Canaria (1st Canarias)..


The competition system will be the same as in recent editions, with 32 teams divided into 8 groups of four teams. The top three teams from Groups A, B, C and D and the leaders of Groups E, F, G and H will advance to the round of 16.
