Agreement with Assist Basketball to develope the ‘Coach Educational Portal’

L’Alqueria del Basket takes another step in its internationalization. Valencia Basket and Assist Basketball, within the collaboration agreement signed a few months ago by both entities, have agreed to jointly develop the ‘Coach Educational Portal’. A coaches portal designed to give visibility to the work and methodology of Valencia Basket and its teams in L’Alqueria del Basket.

The portal will offer content and videos with exercises of the different teams of the club, as well as clinics of coaches who have passed through the facilities, technical details explained by their coaches and more news that will be presented in the future.

The coordinator of L'Alqueria del Basket Mª Ángeles Vidal assured that it's “an enormous satisfaction for L'Alqueria and the Fundació València Bàsquet 2000 to sign this agreement to set up a portal that wants to be a window to the world and wants to share with the entire basketball community all the learning and knowledge that is developed here in any of the categories and in all the areas that we are working on".

Assist Basketball wants to join ties with Valencia Basket and help clubs and coaches around the world in their training with the best technological and educational tools. Its director Dale Ryan explains that “Assist Basketball is very excited to expand this relationship with Valencia Basket and L’Alqueria del Basket by launching this online portal for coaches. In Australia there has been a great need and interest in our coaches who want to learn more about the European approach to coach development. We really want to share the Valencia Basket philosophy with coaches around the world".
