The University of València organizes with L'Alqueria 'La Nau de Pasqua' for primary and secondary schools

The University of Valencia, through its General Foundation, organizes the first Nau de Pasqua, in collaboration with L'Alqueria del Basket: an educational leisure proposal aimed at students in primary and secondary school. This vacation school will be held from April 19 to 22 and registration is already open at this link: https://events.fundacio.es/e/1073/la-nau-de-pasqua.

 

This initiative is included in the framework of the activities developed by the General Foundation of the UV around the different leisure schools organized at the University, such as La Nau Menuda and La Nave Jove.

 

Now, La Nau de Pasqua aims to provide an educational leisure service to children and teenagers during the holiday period in schools and high schools, and thus promote and facilitate family reconciliation. For this reason, La Nau de Pasqua is an open service available to the entire university community as well as to the general public.

 

The program of La Nau de Pasqua, in its first edition, will be dedicated to sport and, more specifically, to the practice of basketball. Thus, this year's organization has the support of L'Alqueria del Basket and offers participants the opportunity to enjoy this sport in an educational environment through different activities, adapted to all ages.

 

The program, whose main objectives are to educate in values through sport, promote the knowledge of basketball and teach the values of competition (knowing how to win and accept defeats), includes a series of training sessions, traditional games, contests and competitions, among other activities.

 

From 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, La Nau de Pasqua will take place at the sports facilities of the Blasco Ibáñez Campus of the University of València, from April 19 to 21; and, on the closing day, April 22, the activity will be at L'Alqueria del Basket.
