Valencia Basket and CRiC Ses Salines have closed a collaboration agreement that has been under construction for more than a year and, by which both Clubs are committed to work together in different sporting and educational aspects.

 

Toni Monzó, coordinator of events and camps of L'Alqueria del Basket, and Vicente Sanhauja, president of CRiC Ses Salines, signed the agreement at the Can Guerxo Pavilion. Thus, among the highlights of this agreement are the activities for the training and monitoring of players and coaches as the Camps and Tournaments in Ibiza and the visits of CRiC Ses Salines to Valencia with their teams. On the other hand, CRiC Ses Salines is committed to carry out scouting functions in its area of influence.

 

According to Vicente Sanahuja "this agreement will promote basketball on the Island and we hope it will help us grow as a Club". Toni Monzó, for his part, assured that "it is an opportunity to help basketball and for the L'Alqueria seal to reach other clubs".

 

The collaboration agreement is effective with the organization of the I Tecnification Camp CRiC Ses Salines - Valencia Basket to be held from 23 to 28 August at the Can Guerxo Pavilion.

 

I TECNIFICATION CAMP CRIC SES SALINES VALENCIA BASKET

This will be the first joint activity between both Clubs and it is expected the presence of Valencia Basket coaches, including the presence of Paco Pardo, Néstor Mataix or Nico Sánchez.

 

Paco Pardo is a superior coach, he was Valencian male U12 coach and head of the Valencia Basket youth teams and is currently coordinator of the Personal Development Area in L'Alqueria del Basket. Néstor Mataix has the title of superior coach and was assistant coach in ACB of Valencia Basket and head of the Valencian club's youth teams. Nico Sanchez, on the other hand, is a superior coach, and has experience as a coach in the Valencia Basket youth teams and in several EBA teams.

 

Likewise, Jose Antonio Núñez, a coach who is part of the technical staff of Zornotza (LEB Plata team) will return to the Camp and will be in charge of individual improvement training.

 

During the Camp will be organized training talks on different topics for coaches of the Island that will be announced shortly on the Club's website. In addition, official Valencia Basket apparel will be raffled among those registered. The raffle will be held on August 16.
