The I L'Alqueria del Basket Open 3x3 comes next week to Valencia and will do so with a record participation. The tournament, in collaboration with Red Bull and the support of Midea and Frifgicoll, closed registrations this week with a total of 45 teams, 35 male and 10 female, among which are the Bàsquet Girona 3x3, Next MVP Badalona, Onil 3x3 or Valencia Basket 3x3. A number above the average of other national tournaments of the same category.

 

The event will be held on August 12, 13 and 14 in L'Alqueria del Basket. There will be a men's preliminary phase on Thursday 12 from 18h to 23h among all participants not directly classified, which will determine the four places that will go on to compete against the already consolidated teams in the last two days of the tournament. A format that allows the combination of professionals and amateurs who will have the opportunity to measure themselves against the best teams of the national scene. The men's group stage will take place on Friday 13th from 6pm to 11pm. On Saturday morning will be the women's group stage from 9h to 11:30h and in the afternoon, from 17:40h to 00h, the finals will be held.

 

In addition, as part of the day, Red Bull will intervene between games with Urban Dance performances, BMX Flatland shows, and Freestyle Battles that we will be announcing in our social networks. There will also be a slam dunk contest among tournament participants and an open three-point contest for fans, details of which will be announced soon.

 

The public will be able to enjoy this event with all the sanitary guarantees. Fans wishing to attend the tournament must fill out a declaration of responsibility before going to the venue. This document does not serve as a ticket and does not guarantee access to the tournament, which will be determined by the capacity of the same at all times.
