L’Alqueria del Basket Open 3x3

Valencia Basket organizes, on June 13 to 15 its forth 3x3 tournament. "L'Alqueria del Basket Open 3x3" is a male and female tournament, scoring for the FIBA ranking, which will bring the best 3x3 players, and is open to all players who wish to participate. Thanks to the direct participation of Red Bull, this tournament will have important prizes.

During the final phase on Saturday the Open 3x3 of L'Alqueria will have a wide range of entertainment for the public that comes to witness this great show. On Friday there will be a three-pointer contest open to anyone who wants to participate. On Saturday there will be a musical performance by 'Aloha Dance Company' and a high-level freestyle battle between Michu and Alek. In addition, there will be a restaurant area where attendees can buy food and drinks.

València will host a high competitive level, with the direct presence of teams integrated in the 3x3 circuit, which will fight for the points at stake in the FIBA 3x3 circuit. A preliminary phase will be played on Thursday 13, and the final phase will be held between the afternoon of Friday 14 and all day Saturday 15.

In the men's competition, the final phase will have 16 teams, 10 of them will qualify directly by their FIBA points and 6 will come out of the preliminary phase that will be played on the 13th. In the women's competition, the final phase will have 16 teams.

Thanks to the collaboration with Red Bull, we will have important prizes for this tournament for both men and women. Those teams that fall in the semifinal crosses will also be rewarded financially and will receive a prize of 250€. The two teams in each category that advance to the final will fight to win €1500. In the men's category, they will also have the opportunity to participate in the Challenger of Pristina (Croatia) and in the women's category they will be able to attend the Red Bull Half Court in New York in October. The teams that lose the final will not go away empty-handed, but will receive a prize of €1000 as a reward for their great result in the tournament.

On Thursday, June 29, the tournament will play a preliminary round among all the participants who did not qualify directly. This initial tournament will determine the six men's places and the women's places if registration exceeds the 8 places available.

Admission of spectators to the tournament is free.
