The Skills Camp, the best specific camp to improve skills on the court, will have a new edition in L'Alqueria del Basket this summer. The camp, which has the best training basketball facilities in Europe as its headquarters, will have a prestigious international and national coaching staff.

The activity is aimed at boys and girls born between 2009 and 2013, with limited places. This year the camp will once again have three shifts:

- From 23 to 27 June (Monday to Friday).

- From 7 to 11 July (Monday to Friday)

- From 21st to 25th July (Monday to Friday)

Prices

The price per player on a full board basis at Mas Camarena Resort is 975€. Included:

- Full board at Mas Camarena Resort. Arrival the day before the start of the camp (dinner included) and departure the same day as the end of the camp.

- All meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, lunch and dinner) during this period of time.

- All internal displacements.

- Daily laundry service.

The price per player in external regime (from 10h to 19h) is 550€. The price includes food, lunch and snacks for the five days.

All participants will receive two reversible training shirts and two shorts.

Timetable

On Monday, the first day, there will be a presentation of the Camp before the 10am training session. On Friday, the last day of the Camp, there will be a closing ceremony after the last training session at 17:30h.

Specific work to improve skills

The Skills Camp methodology is based on individual technical development, approached from a comprehensive perspective that not only seeks to enhance specific skills, but also to ensure their practical application in real game situations. To this end, the daily 1x1 and 3x3 competitions consolidate what has been learnt, developing decision-making under pressure and adaptability to dynamic play.

In addition, the participant will have a moment during the day to watch videos and improve individually through the observation of the shot. Participants will have the opportunity to identify areas for personal improvement and coaches will provide specific feedback on shooting while suggesting ways to improve. 

Finally, talks and group dynamics with the Club's psychopedagogist are included. Fundamental psychological and learning aspects of basketball (motivation, confidence, stress and pressure management, etc.) will be addressed.

At the L'Alqueria del Basket facilities

The Camp will be held at the L'Alqueria del Basket facilities (Calle del Bomber Ramon Duart, s/n, 46013 València) which have 9 indoor and 4 outdoor courts with full equipment, gym, medical and physiotherapy rooms and meeting and study rooms.

Accommodation at Mas Camarena Resort and/or Hotel Ad-Hoc

The accommodation offers students a comfortable service, a place to live and plan academic, sporting and cultural activities. They have an excellent environment, which allows us to offer a quiet, family atmosphere with personalised attention to all students, in an atmosphere of good coexistence and companionship. Players with boarding facilities will be accommodated in rooms for 2, 3 or 4 people, depending on availability.

Mas Camarena Resort is located in the Torre en Conill Norte residential area, opposite the Escorpión Golf Course, in the Valencian town of Bétera, 15 minutes from the centre of Valencia and with direct access to the AP 7 motorway and Valencia airport. More information here.

- Airport pick-up: 60€ (price per way).

- Weekend: 400€ (includes 2 two nights and full board)

- One additional night: 150€ (includes breakfast the following day)

Cancellation policy

Registration can be cancelled by sending a written communication to recepcion@alqueriadelbasket.com. 

The date of receipt of this notification will be taken into account for the total or partial refund of the activity, which will be made according to the following parameters: 

- Cancellation 30 or more days before the start of the activity: 100% refund.

- Cancellation between 29 and 20 days before the start of the activity: 75% refund. 

- Cancellation between 19 and 10 days before the start of the activity: 50% refund.

- Cancellation within 9 days before the start of the activity or once the activity has started: no refund. 

In cases of cancellation due to justified major causes (hospitalisation, emergency surgery or serious injury involving a fracture that makes it impossible to participate in the activity) in which 100% of the amount paid in cash is not refundable, those affected will receive a discount voucher for the remaining percentage that can be redeemed in future registrations for our activities. In order to benefit from this discount voucher, the situation of major cause must be duly justified by presenting supporting documentation.
