Valencia Basket Camps and Schools closed a new season with a successful attendance. More than 2300 young people enjoyed their favorite sport during the 22-23 campaign with the 26 taronja activities and many of them have also been able to meet first-hand some Valencia Basket stars such as Raquel Carrera, Jaime Pradilla, Leticia Romero, Cristina Ouviña or Josep Puerto. The offer of Camps and Schools continues to grow - with four more than last year - and in the coming years it is expected that the number will continue to grow both nationally and internationally.

 

The season started with the fourteenth edition of the 5x5 Christmas Camp and the premiere of the 3x3 Camp. Regarding the Schools, the youngest players could choose between different options between Alqueria, Patronato and Mas Camarena. In March, the third edition of the Fallas School welcomed a good number of children, who made L'Alqueria their home during the Valencian holidays. During the Easter vacations, the Camp in Cheste celebrated its eighteenth year, while the Schools in Alqueria and Mas Camarena also continued to grow. In all these activities in the winter and spring period came more than 600 participants.

 

Already in the summer season, this year the first Summer Camp was held in Cheste in a single shift during the last week of June. The traditional Summer Camp has completed its 34th edition with no less than 6 shifts from June 25 to August 5, in which participants have been able to enjoy their favorite sport in an idyllic setting as is the Nature Center Tarihuela. .

 

The sixth Women's Technification Camp has also been a success, in two shifts according to age, so that the female players perfect many aspects of their game with a luxury coaching staff. This summer the first edition of the Men's Technification Camp was released, with the same objective, now also only for male players..

 

The 6th edition of the Summer School took place at the L'Alqueria facilities, accompanied by the Schools in Patronato and Mas Camarena. Again, a wide variety of options for children to improve in basketball while also practicing other sports and enjoying many games and activities.

 

The Shooting Academy and the Skills Camp continue to be a success in national and international attendance, with boys and girls coming from other parts of Spain and the world working on their shooting -in the first- and their skills -in the second-. Both under the supervision of the best technicians specialized in each area..

 

Away from the City of Turia, in July the first edition of the Raquel Carrera Camp was held in Ourense where the participants had the opportunity to work with the Spanish international player of Valencia Basket. The second edition of the Valencia Basket B-Mood Camp was also held in Cáceres.

 

In August they closed the season, on the one hand, the sixth Worcester Camp in the United Kingdom, where the registered players have been able to improve their level of English while perfecting details of their game. On the other hand, traveling to the Balearic Islands, the Camp organized together with Cric Ses Salines in Ibiza, where the participants enjoyed basketball in an enviable environment. Finally, the Champions Camp with Rookie Basket Academy has put the finishing touch to the summer in Oviedo.

 

In total, all summer activities have added more than 1700 participants, certifying the unstoppable growth of the Valencia Basket Camps and Schools.
