A 2019 full of activity in L’Alqueria del Basket

The Valencia Basket Cup opened 2020 in L’Alqueria del Basket, taking the alternative of a 2019, again, full with activity in the house of European youth basketball.

Precisely, the same tournament opened the year 2019, in a month of January in which Miguel Ángel Ortega was the first protagonist of the training days for coaches which are organized monthly in the facilities. Since then, tournaments, visits and activities for all interests.

In 2019, L’Alqueria didn't stop receiving illustrious visits. Both teams and celebrities of our sport. From the Young Guns of Prague to the Dutch Orange Lions, without forgetting the visits of Ann Wauters, Ángela Salvadores, Goran Vuckovic, Natalie Williams, Ana Suárez or José Manuel Calderón.

A year in which L'Alqueria del Basket kept betting on the Camps and Schools, both the usual ones (Easter, Summer and Christmas), those that continue to grow (Shooting Academy or Skills Camp) and those which are developed abroad (Worcester, Ibiza or the days in Australia). And in a year in which the facilities also hosted innovative activities, such as the Scoutim Showcase for agents, the 3x3 for fathers and mothers or the Luis Doramas Trophy of Quad Rugby, in addition, above all, a Level 4 Procoach Course that raised the training of coaches to maximum level with the visit of the best technicians at international level.

Nor could 2019 be understood in L'Alqueria without the visits of schools, with a "Your School in L'Alqueria" that doesn't stop growing, and without the constant commitment to innovation and training, which in the final stretch of the year resulted in the creation of the new L'Alqueria LAB department and the launch of the international digital magazine AdB Hoops. L’Alqueria del Basket is increasingly based as a reference in youth basketball at all levels.
