A 4th place in the Minicopa Endesa to “work and improve”

Valencia Basket's U14 A team finished its participation in the Minicopa Endesa a little more than a week ago with a 4th place achieved with a great effort and with the incentive of work and improvement for the next short-term commitments and future growth. Despite the fact that being among the top four teams in Spain is something to be proud of, the competitive soul and self-criticism prevail in players and club, according to Luis: "We all wanted the bronze because you are left with the feeling that we could have done it, but in the end we didn't. Andreu (Casadevall) told us that there were many things to work on, that we were a team that had to improve, put more desire into it, do things that some teams are used to and we are not. With a view to the Spanish Championship in June, we will try to implement the things that we have not been able to do in the Minicopa, to do them then".

 

For Revert "the fourth place is the least important thing. The most important thing is that the boys learn from the good things we have done during the championship, as well as the things we have to improve, especially after the last game against Unicaja. The two games we got are very important, which allowed us to get into the semifinals and the way we did it against Zaragoza, which was a very complicated game in which we started very badly.
